For the third Global Seoul-Mates mission I chose the Han river and Han parks to preserve in a Time Capsule. For me the word Han carries a lot of weight. Hangeul is the Korean language, Dae Han Minguk is the Republic of Korea, Haneul means sky, hope and growth, and it is also a family name in Korea. It thus carries more meaning with it than it being purely a river. It is a live source that will be continued into the future of this country, of which Seoul is the capital city.
