Some Sevit (meaning ‘Three Shining Islands’ in Korean), the man-made floating islands on the Hangang River, are drawing a lot of attention as they held their grand opening on October 15. Located near the southern tip of Banpo Bridge in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Some Sevit is made up of three separate islands: Some Gavit, Some Chavit and Some Solvit.
